Ungraspable
I used to think I knew her
reliable, loyal
at other times reprimanding
when I absentmindedly
forgot or even ingnored her
But now, with the days melting one into another
like ghee in butter
she purports an elusiveness
This is what I am learning
Everything in the Universe sings of Freedom
Maybe this is why I adore birds
their freedom song so readily heard
No matter how contained and labeled in the Universe we may be
Time is more like Freedom than I ever believed ~
