Held in a unique venue that offers climate controlled event and workshop space as well as an organic farm and a Farm to Table Meal Plan, hotel style dorm rooms, cozy cabins with kitchens and dorm style accommodations, the Lovelight Festival is a three-day high vibrational and transformational gathering. Lovelight is packed full of yoga classes, Kirtan, workshops and musical performances; as well as installations, drumming, flow arts, and wholesome food.

Lovelight Festival celebrates the evolution of yoga culture—from its introduction in the 60’s counterculture, to modern yoga studio and transformational cultures.

The Lovelight Festival is shanti and groovy and offers something for everyone, whether you are looking to deepen your practice, enjoy great music and bliss out, or just want to learn more about the yoga lifestyle.
The theme of this years festival is Goddess Rising and Lovelight will feature a Goddess grove that has 4 tents, a red tent and a moon tent ( for women only ),a white tent and a larger center tent with workshops held for all of the Lovelight audience. Offerings include rituals, pujas, belly and journey dance, goddess mystery schools, arts and crafts, tantra and more …
Scenic Pearlstone Center is the ideal sylvan location for a yoga fest, having a variety of indoor and outdoor venues including three yoga pavilions for classes and music, three pools, a rustic barn converted to performance space, a 5-acre pond, and plenty of space for camp sites. There are 300 climate controlled sleeping options from cabins with kitchens, to hotel style rooms with private baths, to dorm style sleeping quarters. Two types of glamping allows you to have electricity and hot showers or the most affordable camp that’s set up for you. RVs are welcome; however, there are no hook ups. Please see the website for complete details about the Festival.

Yoga—Just as the 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival introduced Swami Satchidinanda and Integral yoga to the Flower Generation, Lovelight continues the tradition by featuring ‘traditional’ Integral Yoga alongside modern styles like Jivamukti, Dharma, Acro and Kundalini. Guests can take continuously offered classes at the indoor/outdoor yoga pavilion, many of which will be supported by live music and DJ’s. Advance classes and immersions will also be available with Dana Trixie Flynn, Krishna Das, and other featured presenters.

Back to the Garden Stage – Curated by Lovelight Founder Wynne Paris and legendary producer Michael Lang, this outdoor stage showcases spiritually attuned bands and artists as well as Indian, Sufi and Tibetan musicians, reggae, jam bands, musical healers, and poets. The back to the garden stage goes beyond yoga and features eclectic, and heat centered bands like Woodstock original Fantuzzi and Grateful Dead family/Ratdog lead guitarist Mark Karan. A few friends and original Woodstock artists will also be invited to perform. The chemistry of the festival elements, including the audience mix, will be balanced with focused preselling of tickets and by limiting the size of the event to 3,000 people

Transformation—Perhaps the most artistic and colorful community to embrace yoga, the Transformational culture, will also have a home at Lovelight. Influenced by Burning Man, and with core tenets of artistic expression, love, spirituality and evolution, this element of the festival manifests through IDM (intelligent dance music), DJs, light shows, performance artists, theme camps and visionary art installations.

Harmonium Workshop at Main Line Yoga Shala, PA ~

I can’t say enough about the Harmonium and the many gifts it has brough to me as a chanter and lover of Truth.

If chanting speaks to you, if you love sound, if you need a meditative sound making support than this is for you!

Lovingly nicknamed the ‘Layman’s Piano, this free reed instrument supports all musical accompaniment with a sweet and soulful sound. Unlike the virtuoso piano, the harmonium does not require years of vigorous training to sound beautiful. The harmonium drone is mellifluous, sacred and calming.

In India, families gather regularly to chant together on the harmonium, drum and cymbals. The harmonium drone creates simple harmonic tones that color and enhance the voice.
If you have ever secretly desired to play an instrument while singing or chanting a mantra or lullaby, this workshop is right for you.

No prior experience is needed. Just a beginner’s mind, a willingness to play and an open heart!
Pre-registration is required. Please let us know if you do not presently own a harmonium and one will be provided for you at the workshop.
