A Direct Line to the Divine ~

As all elements in our Universe are sound bound, the great mystery of our inner suffering is revealed. Hidden deep within our subconscious lies a spiritual remedy, perhaps even a cure. Simply put ,,, Why not Sing?

Cultures across distant lands and oceans all share delight in the singing of songs.

Sacred Sounding in particular can provide that straight line to the Divine.

It is said that upon the first human sounds uttered, there followed a deep and inner yearning to communicate intimately with Source, the Creator.

And so Mantras were formed. Healing gatherings of sounds designed to plug into that special knowing that we are indeed valued, watched over and loved.

And all over our globe, even today, ancient mantras are chanted. Whether under the canopy of open sky, within the quiet of a temple or the comfort of a home; Whether  in unison as a celebration and affirmation, or in the whisper of one soul.

These songs composed of Sacred Sound have been sounding since the beginning of creation. In the beginning was the word” …  A word can not form without its inherent sound.

When this inner song is sung, we naturally open up and into a waiting Freedom within.

The Bhakti Weekend will be in the beautiful  Temenos Retreat Center!

Temenos is a small retreat center nestled in the hills of southern Chester County on a secluded 56-acre nature sanctuary, yet only 1 hours drive from NJ and center city, and ten minutes from downtown West Chester, PA. The retreat space was designed to appreciate the surrounding natural beauty befriended by Eric Wright, the grandson of Frank Lloyd Wright.

The incredible land and center provides a comfortable, beautiful, serene setting for deeply immersing in Bhakti, the yoga of love and connection into your ebullient Truth and Joy!

There are hiking trails, a lovely water-view area and many quiet places for reflection and meditation and small group processes.  The quiet space at Temenos is ideal for our greatest expansion and renewal.

You can sleep late or get up early and join in morning meditation and/or gentle yoga. Use break times to write, read, draw, walk amidst the tall trees, listen to birds and brook, explore the big mysteries of life or simply do nothing at all.
